The Practice
Volta is an interior design consultation practice built on a simple belief: every space has the potential to become something meaningful. We offer spatial strategy, concept development, FF&E selection, and finish curation, guiding clients through the process of creating interiors that feel thoughtful, personal, and uniquely their own.
Our work is informed by an architectural and interiors background and a strong understanding of the built environment, allowing us to approach each project with both creativity and intention. Design services are provided in a consultative capacity and do not include architectural, engineering, or permit documentation.
Every engagement begins with a complimentary 30 minute discovery call, followed by a tailored proposal. No matter the scale or starting point, the goal remains the same: creating spaces worth experiencing.
Why Volta?
The name comes from the Italian word volta — meaning vault, arch, and turn. In architecture, the vault is one of the most expressive structural forms ever built: it doesn't just span a space, it elevates it. The word also means a turn — a shift, a new direction, a transformation. That's exactly what we believe every space is capable of. Whether you're moving into your first apartment, settling into a new city, or finally making a home entirely your own, Volta is about that turn — the moment a space becomes something meaningful.
The Founder
I've always been drawn to the relationship between people and place. Born in Venezuela, raised in Panama City, and educated at Northeastern University, my journey through different cultures and environments sparked a lifelong fascination with the spaces we call our own.
I founded Volta on the belief that every space has the power to shape an experience. Whether it's your first home away from home, a move to a new city, or a space you've built for yourself from the ground up, the environments we inhabit become part of our journey — supporting our growth, shaping our daily lives, and reflecting the chapters of our story.
To me, every space is personal. It should offer a sense of comfort, calm, and belonging — a place that supports the way you live and reflects who you are.
My passion lies in helping people transform spaces into environments that feel authentic and deeply their own, regardless of size, layout, or budget. The goal is never perfection; it's creating a space that feels like yours, within your means and on your terms.
